The Ca La Peirona Restaurant is the great gastronomic appeal of this village in the interior of the Baix Camp. They offer authentic traditional Catalan cuisine with products from their own garden, traditional recipes and in an iconic setting of the Costa Daurada mountains, at the foot of the Serra de la Mussara.

Ca La Peirona makes mountain and Catalan cuisine but also has succulent seafood specialities. Stand out Catalan escudella, endive with romesco, grilled vegetable salad with goat cheese, cod au gratin with romesco and garlic and oil, baked goat, game meats, snails in a tin , espadrilles, among others. The desserts are made in-house and highlight the Catalan cream, the house cake, the quince and white food. It also has an extensive wine list from the regions of Tarragona and DO’s from Southern Catalonia.

How to get to Vilaplana

The best way to reach this restaurant in Vilaplana is by car. This town in Baix Camp is located less than 20 minutes from Reus and less than 30 minutes from Salou and Tarragona. You can arrive from La Selva del Camp or from the N420 road by taking the route that connects Maspujols, l’Aleixar, and Vilaplana.
