The history of the Museu del Vermut in Reus spans three generations of the Tàpias family, a shared passion deeply rooted in the region’s winemaking heritage. Thanks to this museum, Reus boasts the world’s largest collection dedicated to vermouth, with over 6,500 items, including 2,100 bottles, 450 posters, and thousands of labels and promotional objects from 57 different countries. Today, the “Vermut de Reus” brand enjoys global recognition, and the museum has become one of the city’s main attractions.

The Restaurant at Museu del Vermut

Housed in a modernist building, the restaurant at the Museu del Vermut in Reus is a local landmark for Mediterranean cuisine. It has been awarded a Solete Repsol for its authentic and high-quality gastronomic offerings. The menu features tapas and tinned delicacies to share or accompany with vermouth, as well as dishes ranging from traditional cuisine to more contemporary creations, all prepared with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

A highlight is the conserves from Espinaler, which can be enjoyed in the restaurant or purchased in the museum shop. This space enhances an experience that blends history, culture, and gastronomy in a unique setting.
