This season, the Mapilife guide has achieved a major milestone: surpassing 500 distribution points across Southern Catalonia for the first time. Once again, Mapilife is consolidated as the leading travel guide for Terres de l’Ebre and the Costa Daurada, distributing tens of thousands of maps in over 50 towns in the area.
Strategic Distribution
After 9 years of making guides and with 4 maps in circulation, Mapilife is the printed guide with the largest circulation and distribution in Southern Catalonia. One of the guide’s strengths is its strategic, extensive distribution, designed to be useful for users.
We are well-present in arrival points such as Reus Airport and in the taxis of the region’s main capitals. We also distribute our map collection in most tourist information offices, which operate throughout the year.
Available in the Capitals
Salou remains the destination with the highest number of distribution points, surpassing 200 points. We thank the local restaurants and shops for their collaboration, as well as the experiences that offer our map to their customers. After 8 editions of the Mapilife Salou guide, we have become the travel map of reference in the capital of the Costa Daurada.
The new Mapilife Tarragona guide, launched in spring 2024, has allowed us to add new points in the capital and consolidate the existing ones. Unlike Salou, Tarragona allows us to extend the season beyond the summer.
Soon, the next guide we will renew is Mapilife Reus, aiming to cover and surpass one hundred distribution points. We have also gained presence this season in Cambrils, which was featured on the cover of the global guide to Southern Catalonia.

From the Coast to the Mountains
From Torredembarra to L’Ametlla de Mar, Mapilife is present in 57 points, covering towns like Torredembarra, Altafulla, Creixell, Vila-seca and La Pineda, Mont-roig and Miami Platja, Hospitalet de l’Infant and Vandellòs, and L’Ametlla de Mar.
In Terres de l’Ebre and the Delta, the guide is distributed across 56 points, in towns such as Deltebre, Amposta, La Ràpita, Riumar, Ampolla, Benifallet, Gandesa, Horta de Sant Joan, Móra d’Ebre, Tortosa, and Ulldecona.
In the mountains and inland areas, with a total of 39 points, Mapilife is present in Montblanc, Prades, Poblet, L’Espluga de Francolí, Falset, Cornudella de Montsant, La Morera del Montsant, L’Albalca and Escaladei, Capafonts, Valls, and Tivissa.
With a total of 510 strategic points across Southern Catalonia, Mapilife is established as the most widely distributed guide in the region.
Furthermore, there are also private distributors, such as rural houses or small businesses, which offer our guides to their customers as an extra service. We personally manage the distribution, free of charge, with the aim of expanding our network to the most remote corners of our land.
We are proud to have the trust and to be the preferred guide for hotel and camping receptions, offering our guides to their guests to discover the most authentic experiences of the Costa Daurada and Terres de l’Ebre.
We distribute thousands of maps: we are in all the hotels in Salou, Tarragona, Reus, and Cambrils, as well as in strategic accommodations throughout the region. This effort allows us to ensure that Mapilife is accessible to all those who visit us.

This expansion of distribution and the renewal of the guides has had a direct impact on our web traffic. This year, we reached a historic record with over 100,000 unique users and a significant increase in page views, exceeding our expectations. This success is the result of continuous effort in creating high-quality web content that complements our guides, offering visitors detailed and up-to-date information on the best experiences of the Costa Daurada and Terres de l’Ebre.
