The Salou’s ‘Nits Daurades’ – Golden Nights in English – are held from August 7 to 16. More than twenty events free for all ages, the biggest of which being the firework display
Summer on the Costa Daurada reaches its climax with an event that you cannot miss: the Nits Daurades of Salou 2023. It’s time to enjoy a fusion of culture, music and excitement as the nights become a festival of colour, light, fire and joy. Salou hosts proposals for all audiences from August 5 to 16: folkoric events, concerts, performances and the impressive fireworks. Live the Nits Daurades and discover why Salou is the capital of the Costa Dorada.
Salou is filled with music and magic during the Nits Daurades, to celebrate the Festival between the 5th and 16th of August. Concerts, dances, shows, the Nit de Foc and the spectacular Castell de Focs. Discover the program of activities to enjoy a few nights full of magic on the Costa Dorada.
Nits Daurades Programm for 2023
The festivities start on Monday, August 7 at 8:30 p.m. at the Salou Tourist Board Chalet where the inaugural anouncement of the Nits Daurades 2023 will take place. Later, you can enjoy a magic show with the quality seal of House Of Illusion shows. It is a magic show with Harry Merlin and Piper & friends, at 10 p.m. in the Plaça de les Comunitas Autònomes.
Tuesday the 8th, traditional music performances take center stage. At 10 p.m., a meeting of habaneras is organized. On the 9th, it follows “La Festa”, the parade with acrobat clowns. And on the same day at 9 p.m., the performance of local groups will take place in the Plaça de les Comunitas Autònomes.
The following day it is rock & roll’s turn to shine with live performances starting at 11 p.m.. And on Friday the 11th, the tribute to Raffaella Carrà will be the main event of the night.
On the 12th at 8 p.m. there will be a traditional dance performance of sardanas and at 9:30 p.m. one of the most anticipated affairs will begin: the Nit de Foc. A correfoc where the Diables Maleïts, Bruixes Latemó, Xaloc, Morena de Salou and other invited groups will participate. The night will come to an end with a flamenco show at 11 p.m.
We continue on Sunday with a big parade to commemorate the 20th birthday of the Ball de Bastons de Salou, as well as more performances by local groups and artists. At 10:30 p.m., Vuitant! 80’s Party, in collaboration with Flash Back Discotheque.
On the 14th at 8 p.m. you can enjoy the popular parade with the festive groups of Salou. At 10 p.m., don’t miss the Great Acrobatic Circus of China to experience the magic of the most impressive circus.
The great Fireworks Castle
Tuesday the 15th is Santa Maria de Mar, patron of Salou and the big day of the Festival. The Fishermen’s Society of Santa Maria del Mar in Salou organizes a mass at 8 p.m. and the procession at 9 p.m. The prelude to the most anticipated and massive event in all of southern Catalonia
Salou will shine with its own light with the great fireworks castle that will take place on Llevant beach, on Passeig Jaume I from Salou
Without a doubt, the largest and most spectacular fire show on the Costa Daurada, which brings together tens of thousands of people in houses, rooftops, terraces, streets, squares and beaches of Salou. This amazing night culminates with La Privada orchestra, to celebrate the day of the patron of Salou.
And to put an end to the summer festivities, this edition of the Nits Daurades will say goodbye with a huge concert -Wednesday 16 from 10 p.m. with the participation of local and national artists.
